EUPM² for Managing EU-Funded projects

EUPM² is a PM² tailoring specifically adapted to the specific needs and conditions of EU-funded grant projects.
EUPM² has been developed through an Erasmus+ project which adapted and customised the PM2project management methodology to EU-funded projects (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Interreg, etc.), thus providing a practical and integrated framework for their design and management.
EUPM² integrates the EU projects design methodologies and tools with the PM² Project Management Methodology developed by the European Commission in a single framework, providing a comprehensive approach to managing EU-funded projects, from a robust design to a solid methodological approach to project management. This ensures that the projects are well-designed and well-managed, based on the European Commission´s methods, increasing the likelihood of their success.

The European Union manages a vast portfolio of initiatives based on EU-funded grants. For instance, the Erasmus+ Programme (2014-2025) has funded 309,805 grant projects for a total amount of 36.16B€ in which over 1 million organisations have participated . Other funding programmes such as Horizon Europe or Life, also award thousands of grant projects each year. In the end, EU policy is largely implemented through projects.
Despite the large volumes in terms of projects and budget involved, many project teams struggle with numerous challenges related to Project Management and the way to design, plan, implement and monitor their projects.
EUPM² can help EU Project Managers to better integrate Project Governance, design, processes and monitoring and control in their daily work.
