EUPM² - Improving EU-funded Project Management
A new academic path for EU project managers: narrowing the gaps to enable better project design and management in Europe, aimed at sharing a common model of knowledge and skills for future professionals in the management of EU-funded projects by tailoring the PM² Project Management Methodology developed and promoted by the European Commission.
What is EUPM²?
- EUPM² is a PM² tailoring specifically adapted to the specific needs and conditions of EU-funded grant projects.
- EUPM² has been developed through an Erasmus+ project which adapted and customised the PM² project management methodology to EU-funded projects (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Interreg, etc.), thus providing a practical and integrated framework for their design and management.
- EUPM² integrates the EU projects design methodologies and tools with the PM² Project Management Methodology developed by the European Commission in a single framework, providing a comprehensive approach to managing EU-funded projects, from a robust design to a solid methodological approach to project management. This ensures that the projects are well-designed and well-managed, based on the European Commission´s methods, increasing the likelihood of their success.
Objectives
- Facilitating the access to the the PM² Methodology to EU-funded Project Managers by providing a tailoring that reflects the specificities of these projects
- Increasing student’s job opportunities in a dynamic and attractive sector through the improvement of their skills and abilities in managing EU-funded projects.
- Enriching the higher education sector with a new, common, and innovative academic path to improve its alignment to the increasing market demand of qualified EU Project Managers.
