The PM² Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of the SPM² Community Engagement Platform — a dedicated Community of Practice for people interested in the future of sustainable project management.
The community provides a long-term space for practitioners, educators, researchers, students, trainers and sustainability professionals to connect around the practical application and continuing development of SPM² – Sustainable Project Management through PM² .
SPM² builds on the European Commission's PM² Methodology and explores how sustainability considerations can be integrated into project management processes, governance and decision-making.
The new platform has been created to help turn SPM² knowledge, resources and project results into an active professional community where ideas can be discussed, tested, shared and further developed through practice.
Learn, Connect and Contribute
Community members will be able to access the SPM² Guide, project artefacts, learning resources and practical examples, while participating in webinars, expert discussions and the recurring SPM² Community Hour.
Learn
Explore the SPM² Guide, project resources, practical artefacts, examples and new learning opportunities.
Connect
Meet practitioners, trainers, educators, researchers and sustainability professionals from across the wider PM² community.
Contribute
Share experience, practical cases and feedback that can support the continuing development and application of SPM².
The community is intended to be interactive and practitioner-driven. Members will be encouraged to participate actively, exchange knowledge and bring their own professional experience into the conversation.
- Exchange experience with PM² and sustainability practitioners
- Discuss practical project-management challenges
- Provide feedback on SPM² and its application
- Suggest topics for future community activities
- Contribute real cases, examples and good practices
- Explore sustainability in project governance and delivery
This collaborative approach reflects the wider mission of the PM² Alliance: bringing practitioners together to exchange knowledge, develop good practice and contribute to the wider adoption and evolution of PM²-based project management.
A Community Beyond the Project
One of the most important roles of the platform is to support the continued use and development of SPM² beyond the lifetime of the project itself.
By bringing together a diverse community of practitioners, educators and learners, the platform can help ensure that project outputs continue to evolve through dialogue, practical experience and professional exchange.
It also creates a space where emerging needs, lessons from implementation and new professional perspectives can feed back into the wider SPM² community.
Who Can Join?
The SPM² Community is open to a broad range of people and organisations interested in combining effective project management with sustainability.
No previous experience with SPM² is required.
Whether you are already working with PM² or are simply interested in sustainable
project management, you are welcome to become part of the community.
