From 09 to 11 May 2025, 14 MSc students of CITY College from 5 countries (Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Greece, and North Macedonia) participated in a dedicated PM² Methodology Workshop. Project Management Methodology (PM²) of the European Union was introduced as a full semester module with the support of PM² Alliance! The aim of this workshop is not only knowledge but for all MSc Students to be certified with the PM² Advanced certification through the test center of the PM² Alliance.
During this interactive workshop, the students were trained in all the phases and artefacts of the PM² Methodology and learned how the methodology can be integrated into various projects in an efficient way! We examined a number of real case scenarios, bringing the official project management methodology of the European Commission to life.
We started with the Initiating phase and then discussed the Project Plans and how to properly tailor them to our projects. Our last actions were the Identification of Risks, the Risk Analysis, Risk responses, and how we will monitor our Risks during the execution of the project.
Productive discussions were raised, and a lot of work has been done on the PM² Artefacts! The smiling faces at the end of the workshop and the filled PM² templates are evidence that the objective was accomplished and knowledge was gained in a joyful way!
