A new PM2 training course was successfully organised in collaboration with PM2 Alliance, aiming to equip participants from the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK) with a solid understanding of PM², the project management methodology developed by the European Commission, while fostering the adoption of a shared methodological framework within the Foundation.
The programme brought together professionals from different departments and research areas, creating a valuable opportunity to align practices, terminology, and approaches to project management. Establishing a common methodology is a key enabler for organisations like FBK, where complex, multi-disciplinary projects require effective coordination, clear governance, and consistent delivery standards.
The course was organised by Trentino School of Management (TSM) and delivered by Marco Amici, Regional Coordinator for Italy of the PM2 Alliance, who guided participants through the core principles, processes, and artefacts of PM², combining theoretical insights with practical applications tailored to FBK’s operational context.
As in the previous edition, participants were prepared to pursue the PM² Alliance Essential certification, further contributing to the professionalisation of project management within the organisation and enhancing alignment with European best practices.
This second edition highlights the growing relevance of PM² as a common language for project management, not only within public administrations but also in research and innovation environments.
Through initiatives like this, PM² Alliance continues to support organisations across Europe in adopting structured, effective, and scalable project management practices, ultimately contributing to better project outcomes and stronger institutional capacity.
