Associate Professor at the University of Valladolid, Javier Pajares, one of the contributors to the translation into Spanish of the Overview of the PM² Guide, is presenting the Open PM² methodology in the Master in Project Management at the University of Valladolid.
“During this term, our Master students have learned the PM² model, within the subjects “Methodologies and tools for Project Management” and “Elaboration of Project Plans”. From the beginning, they have been very receptive to the methodology, and have liked it very much because of its “power and simplicity”.
When the students saw the methodology, they had previously studied other standards such as the PMI’s PMBoK, IPMA’s ICB or ISO 21.500. PM² was one of the methodologies they liked the most.
The students have incorporated PM² concepts for developing their project plans. They particularly liked the governance model, the mindsets, and the artefacts, because according to the students, the “artefacts help us to get inspiration to draw up the project plan documents”.”
The PM² Alliance is grateful for the spreading of the PM² Methodology, hopefully more and more Universities will add it to their curriculum.
