The PM² Alliance has announced 2024 as a milestone year for EU Public Administration Methodology Adoption. This marks the beginning of a 3-year initiative set to reinforce the trend towards transformation for enhancing efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness across all member states public administration through the widespread adoption of the European Commission’s PM² Methodology.
Our Vision
Our EU Public Administration Advisory Committee for methodology adoption and management excellence has set out an ambitious vision: In 2024, we embark on a transformative journey to elevate EU public administration to unparalleled heights of excellence in project management and governance.
Our vision is to integrate modern methodologies, particularly PM², digital tools and AI, across the European Union, thereby setting a global benchmark for public administration.
Initiative Structure & Key Pillars
- Awareness and Advocacy: Launching a series of campaigns and outreach programs to illuminate the benefits and strategic importance of PM² within EU public administrations.
- Education and Training: We will be working with our network of Affiliated Training Providers to roll out an expansive training program, workshops, and learning modules, specifically designed for EU public administrators at every level.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Building robust alliances with key stakeholders, including EU institutions, national governments, academia, and the private sector, to foster a supportive ecosystem for methodology adoption.
- Research and Development: Encouraging the pursuit of innovation through focused research on PM²’s integration with cutting edge technologies like AI, alongside the development of new tools and methodologies for public administration.
- PM² Adoption Roadmap: Introducing a strategic framework for the phased adoption of PM², tailored to meet the unique challenges and capacities of different EU regions.
- Cross-Border Cooperation Projects: Demonstrating the efficacy of PM² through exemplar projects that address common administrative challenges across the EU.
