From 11th till 13th of January, 15 employees of Performance Technologies SA and Adaptera SA participated in a PM² Methodology Workshop of Human Asset in premises of ” Performance Technologies SA” in Athens with the goal to gain the PM² Advanced Certification. They were trained to all the phases and artefacts of PM² Methodology and how the methodology can be integrated in IT & Technology projects in an efficient way! It is a blended training including 3 day of face to face training, 3 days of asynchronous training and 2 days online synchronous training with the support of PM² Alliance!
Participants from three distinct sectors came together for an interactive workshop designed to delve into the practical application of the PM² methodology. Using a real-life case scenario, attendees collaboratively explored various project management phases, making the experience both dynamic and enriching.
The session kicked off with a team-building activity, seamlessly transitioning into the Initiating Phase, where participants laid the groundwork for the project.
Next, the workshop shifted to the Planning Phase, emphasizing stakeholder identification and the creation of the Project Triangle. Participants also developed key PM² Artefacts, providing a robust foundation for project execution.
In the Execution Phase, the group engaged in a detailed discussion about managing a Change Request. They explored strategies for effectively Monitoring & Controlling changes to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
The workshop was highly interactive, with productive discussions, extensive use of post-it notes, and collaborative work on PM² templates. These efforts culminated in actionable results, vividly captured within the PM² framework.
Looking ahead, the team is now preparing for the PM² Advanced Certification Exam, scheduled to take place in one month. Armed with hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the methodology, they are well-equipped to excel in their certification journey.
This workshop not only reinforced core project management principles but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and continuous learning.
