From October 29th to 31st, METLEN Energy & Metals took an exciting step forward in project management with a PM² Methodology Workshop hosted by Human Asset in cooperation with the PM² Alliance. Held in Madrid, Spain, the workshop brought together nine team members from three different countries, all united by a common goal: to master the PM² Methodology and achieve the PM² Advanced Certification.
This comprehensive, blended training program included a robust combination of three days of face-to-face training, three days of asynchronous learning, and two additional days of online synchronous sessions, all guided by PM² Alliance experts. Through this multi-faceted approach, the METLEN team gained hands-on experience with each phase of the PM² Methodology, from initial team building to project monitoring and change management.
Starting with an interactive team-building activity, the group delved into the Initiating phase before advancing to the Planning phase, where they identified key stakeholders and developed their Project Triangle. Real case scenarios provided an invaluable opportunity to produce authentic PM² Artefacts and practice with templates designed to support efficient project execution.
The workshop culminated with an in-depth look at the Execution phase, focusing on managing Change Requests and ensuring effective Monitoring & Controlling processes. Discussions flourished, and ideas came to life on post-its and PM² templates, making it a productive and insightful experience for everyone involved.
With the training complete, the METLEN team is now gearing up for their PM² Advanced Certification exams, which are scheduled to take place in just a month. This workshop marks a significant milestone in their professional journey, equipping them with the skills and confidence to integrate the PM² Methodology seamlessly into their projects. We at PM² Alliance are proud to support METLEN Energy & Metals on their path to project management excellence!
